    Scott Knudson - CEO, COO

    Scott Knudson is the CEO and COO of OHPLC, an Arizona-based design-build firm specializing in custom homes, architectural pools, landscapes, and integrated outdoor living environments. Born and raised in Arizona, Scott comes from a multi-generational family of engineers rooted in the Valley, shaping his early understanding of technical problem-solving and construction discipline.

    Scott began his career in the landscape industry over a decade ago, working hands-on in the field installing irrigation systems, plantings, and artificial turf. This foundation in field operations informed his transition into engineering, complex construction, and leadership—areas that ultimately led him to co-found OHPLC. His background allows him to bridge design intent and execution, ensuring projects are built with precision, efficiency, and respect for the original vision.

    As a licensed builder, Scott takes pride in OHPLC’s ability to foster long-term relationships with designers and architects, enabling seamless collaboration and faithful execution of every detail. He is equally committed to cultivating a team-first culture within OHPLC, assembling crews he describes as top-tier professionals driven by accountability, craftsmanship, and shared standards.

    Scott’s favorite part of his work is collaborating directly with clients throughout the build process, delivering high-quality results that reflect both design excellence and construction integrity.

    Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, staying active through fitness and basketball, and continuing his training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

    Cathy Pippen - CFO

    Cathy serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at OHPLC, bringing more than 30 years of experience in finance and accounting across multiple industries. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Arizona State University and plays a central role in guiding the firm’s financial strategy, operations, and long-term stability.

    At OHPLC, Cathy is known for her organized, solutions-oriented approach and team-first mindset. Her ability to navigate complex financial considerations with clarity and precision has been instrumental in supporting the firm’s recent growth, ensuring that projects are executed responsibly and sustainably. She works closely with leadership to align financial planning with operational goals, helping the team focus on delivering high-quality design and construction outcomes.

    Outside of the office, Cathy enjoys evenings at the movies, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new cities.

    Oscar Navarro - CCO

    Oscar Navarro serves as Chief Construction Officer at OHPLC, bringing deep, hands-on experience in landscape and pool construction shaped by a lifetime in the field. An Arizona native, Oscar began working on job sites at a young age through his father’s business, building a strong foundation in construction practices, materials, and project execution.

    Oscar studied Landscape Architecture at Glendale Community College and Arizona State University, and spent three years working as a designer for his father’s company. In 2019, he founded his own construction business focused on custom pools, spas, landscapes, and outdoor environments, before joining the OHPLC team. Over the course of his career, Oscar has built and managed more than 300 projects throughout the Valley, encompassing pools, masonry, landscape installations, specialty lighting, outdoor kitchens, and water features.

    At OHPLC, Oscar is known for his commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and execution at scale. He takes particular pride in delivering projects designed for families to enjoy for years to come, valuing the lasting impact well-built environments have on clients’ lives. His favorite part of the process is project completion—when the vision is realized and the client’s expectations are exceeded.

    Outside of work, Oscar spends time with his wife and four children and is actively involved in coaching high school and youth football. He values mentorship and leadership development, both on job sites and on the field, and is passionate about helping shape the next generation.

    Jack Dyer - Principal Designer, QP

    Jack Dyer is the Principal Designer and Licensed Qualifying Party at OHPLC, an Arizona-based design-build firm specializing in custom homes, architectural pools, landscapes, and integrated outdoor living environments. With over a decade of experience in high-end residential design and construction, Jack is widely recognized for his work shaping luxury outdoor-centric properties throughout Arizona.

    Holding a KA Dual Commercial & Residential Engineering Contractor’s License, Jack brings technical precision to every project while maintaining a strong design-driven perspective. His credentials include Sustainable Landscape Management (SLM®) Certification, CMHA Paver Installer Certification, and Certified Watershape Foreman status through Watershape University, reflecting a commitment to best practices, durability, and long-term performance.

    Jack’s work is defined by a balance of bold, modern design and timeless materials, informed by regional context and native sensibilities. His projects span custom homes, pools, and full-property environments, each tailored to the client’s lifestyle and site conditions. His work has received multiple awards from the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association, along with editorial features including Inspired Modern Living.

    For Jack, design is more than construction—it is a process of storytelling through space. Each project integrates architecture, landscape, and lifestyle to create environments that are enduring, personal, and deeply connected to place.

    Miguel Barron - Project Engineer and Estimator

    Miguel serves as Project Engineer and Estimator at OHPLC, bringing five years of experience across the landscape, pool, and residential construction industry in Arizona. A near-native of the Valley, he plays a key role in reviewing construction documents, developing detailed proposals, and ensuring accurate job costing across a wide range of projects.

    Miguel began his career at a family friend’s landscape construction firm, where he gained hands-on experience in design coordination, bidding, and project management. Over the course of his career, he has contributed to and overseen more than 50 projects, ranging from small-scale installations to complex, seven-figure residential builds involving pools, landscapes, and integrated site work.

    At OHPLC, Miguel is known for his attention to detail, analytical approach, and collaborative mindset. He works closely with clients, designers, and project teams to ensure proposals are thoroughly developed and aligned with project intent. His long-term focus includes expanding the firm’s estimating and pool divisions while supporting the development of new talent within the organization. Through careful planning and strong industry relationships, Miguel helps ensure each project is positioned for successful execution from the outset.

    Ivan Hernandez - Designer

    Ivan Hernandez is a Designer at OHPLC, where he supports projects from early concept through construction. With four years of experience in residential design and construction, Ivan contributes across both the creative and technical sides of the process, including design development, project coordination, and on-site support.

    Working closely under the mentorship of Principal Designer Jack Dyer, Ivan continues to develop his skills in high-end pool and landscape design, 3D modeling, and construction planning. His attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to take on responsibility make him a valuable part of OHPLC’s collaborative workflow.

    Focused on continued learning and growth, Ivan helps bridge design intent and execution, ensuring each project reflects OHPLC’s standards for precision, creativity, and client-focused delivery.
